Sharon Chineta Holt Barber, 70, of Salisbury, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. Born Oct. 7, 1948 in Rowan County she was a daughter of the late Ervin Leroy Holt and Doris Smith Holt. Sharon was a graduate of Price High School, Class of 1966 and Livingstone College, Class of 1974. She was a reporter and writer for WSTP Radio as well the Salisbury Post and a substitute teacher for Salisbury-Rowan Schools. She loved teaching, reading, cross-stitching and gardening. Sharon was a loving wife and mother. She was exceptionally proud of her son's and daughter's accomplishments.
