Terry Arnold, 72, of rural Osseo, died Thursday morning, June 13, 2019, at his home, under the care of his family and Great Lakes Caring Hospice. He was born in Bremerton, Washington on September 15, 1946, the son of the late Clayton Theodore and Barbara Arlene (Van Skiver) Arnold. He married the former Eleanor Embach on September 9, 1992 in St. Joseph, MO.

Terry served in the Marine Corp from 1966 – 1968 as a Second Lieutenant and received several accommodations including the National Defense Service Medal, Navy Unite Citation, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Cross of Gallantry Meritorious Unit Citation, Rifle Sharpshooter Badge, Pistol Sharpshooter Badge, Navy Achievement Medal Combat “V”, Republic of Vietnam Medal and the Purple Heart. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1975 from The University of Washington. Terry retired from his position as Director of Quality Assurance for Burger King, FL.

Terry was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the NRA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, pyrotechnics, Ham Radio operator, reloading, politics, history and loved being outdoors.

In addition to his wife, Eleanor, he is survived by three sisters-in-law, Mary (Ralph) Mapes of Reading, MI, Pat (Randy) Button of Hudson, MI, Marie (Keith) Lienhop of St. Peters, MO; and two brothers-in-law, Jim Embach of Hudson, MI, Ed Embach of Pittsford, MI. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Ty Arnold.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Monday, June 17, at the Terry and Eleanor Arnold family home, 9511 Bird Lake Rd. S, Osseo, MI from 6:00-7:00 p.m. followed by a Vigil Prayer Service at 7 p.m. A Mass of Resurrection for the soul of Terry Arnold will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hudson to be presided by Father Todd Koenigsknecht. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Hudson.
