William David (Bill) Werner son of David and Lilly Roena was born December 12, 1914. As a young adult he gave his life to the Lord Jesus Christ and thus began a Godly Heritage that continues through his family today. He went to be with His Lord July 28, 2003. Throughout his adult life he pastored numerous churches with the help and support of his precious wife of 36 years and the mother of his 3 sons, Arna Mae. God blessed him with another wife, Lillian, devoted companion of 15 years. He was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, 4 sisters and a son, Henry C. Werner. He is survived by his sons Cecil Werner and wife Shirley, Russell Werner and wife Sherry, and a Daughter-inlaw Phyllis Werner all of OKC, 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends. Services will be Monday, August 4, 10:00 AM Western Hills Church, 401 S.W. 44th, burial at Sunny Lane Cemetery. The family will receive guests from 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, August 3, at Hunter Funeral Home, 2427 S Harvey. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations made to Gideons International.
