Born in Rahway, New Jersey, Mark resided at Park Meadows Senior Living in Overland Park.
A 1975 graduate of Colonia Senior High School (Colonia, NJ), Mark always enjoyed working and retired from NJ Bell Telephone before moving to Kansas in 1993.
He spent his days at Park Meadows socializing with others, watching soap operas and exercising. Mark was always helpful to fellow residents at Park Meadows and liked his "job" of turning off the lights at the end of the day.
Throughout his life, Mark enjoyed many activities and things like Boy Scouts, camping, swimming, dogs, music (especially marching bands), family get togethers and vacations at Lake Winnipesaukee, NH. His family was the main love of his life, especially his children and grandchildren.
Predeceased by his father Kenneth Jennings and, recently, his Aunt Bobbie Morton, Mark was survived by his son Christopher Jennings & his wife Jozie and granddaughter Abby; daughter Angela Mitdbo & her husband Erik and granddaughters Ellie and Addison; his mother Ruth Jennings; his brother Ken Jennings & his wife Janet and their children Joyce McLain (Jordan), Laura McDowell (Matt and four children), and Will; brother Scott Jennings, his wife Randi and Scott's children Matt (Emma), Ben and Sarah, and Randi's children Kala Wisniewski (Troy and their son), Nicole Finn (Mathew and their daughter); his sister Barbara Gilman Signor & her husband Peter with their son Sam along with Barbara's children Cali Gilman, Kate Gilman and Jennifer Gilman. He will be dearly missed by family and all who came in contact with his infectious smile and loving spirit.
A Memorial and Celebration of Life Service will be held jointly with Aunt Bobbie's at noon on Saturday, July 13th, at the First Baptist Church of Laurelton, 1824 NJ-88, Brick Township, NJ 08724. Mark's ashes will be set to rest at a family plot in Rosehill Cemetery, Linden, NJ.
