LESTER PETRI

Lester J. Petri, 59, of 2110 Polk St., Two Rivers, former dairy firm operator, took his life Wednesday afternoon.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, the Rev. Earl Brouchoud officiating. Burial will be in Forest View Cemetery.
Mr. Petri was born Sept. 30, 1910 (sic), in Town of Two Rivers, son of the late Matt and Clara Kornely Petri. He attended rural and St. Luke parochial schools. In his early years he became associated with the former Two Rivers Dairy Co. and later formed a partnership in the firm with Milton Peltier. After selling his interest in the firm to Verifine Dairy of Sheboygan, he and his son Allan, established the Home Dairy on the city's east side. The company discontinued its operation several years ago.
Besides his wife, the former Dorothy Nack, whom he married Oct. 27, 1931, at Two Rivers, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Richard Sauve and Mrs. Paul Engelland, of Two Rivers; two sons, Allan, of Hastings, Minn., and Kenneth, of Rt. 3, Two Rivers; two sisters, Mrs. Harold Eis, of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, and Mrs. Alvin Bohne, of Two Rivers; a brother, Elmer, of Two Rivers and 15 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral chapels after 3 p.m. Friday where memorial services will be at 8 p.m.
