ROGER OLSON

Roger H. Olson, age 73, of 3752 Adams St., Two Rivers, died early Saturday
morning, Sept. 6, 2003, at the Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003, at St.
John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will
be the Rev. David Arndt, with burial to follow in Forest View Cemetery, Two
Rivers.
Friends may call at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Two Rivers after 9:30 a.m. on
Tuesday, until the time of service at 10:30 a.m.

Roger H. Olson, age 73, of 3752 Adams Street, Two Rivers, died early Saturday
morning, Sept. 6, 2003 at the Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers. Funeral
services will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003 at St. John's
Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. David Arndt will officiate
at the service with burial to follow in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Roger was born April 8, 1930 at Underhill, son of Clara (Hoeffs) Olson and the
late Charles Olson. He attended a country grade school in Mosling and Gillett
High School, where he graduated with the class of 1948. Roger entered the U.S.
Air Force in January of 1951, serving until January of 1955. On May 5, 1956 he
married Anna Mae Beilfuss at St. John's Church in Pulcifer. Roger was employed
with Mirro Aluminum Co. for over 30 years, retiring in 1992. He was a long time
member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the American Legion of Two Rivers.
Survivors include his wife; Anna Mae; two sons, Richard Olson, Galveston, Texas
and Phillip Olson, Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Paul Bratz,
Weston and Kara and Keith Lyons, North Carolina; his mother, Clara Olson and five
grandchildren: Sharon, Dunia and Marianna Olson, Erin and Mitchell Bratz. He is
further survived by a brother and four sisters-in-law, John (Kathy) Olson, Gillett;
Dorothy Olson, Milwaukee: Beatrice Kostuch, West Allis; and Irene Fredrick, Oconto
Falls; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
His father, Charles and two brothers, Laverne and Ivan Olson preceded him in death.
Friends may call after 9:30 am on Tuesday until the time of service at 10:30 am at
St. John's Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. There will be no visitation this evening.
