Timothy David Stephenson “Tim” left this life unexpectedly and too soon, in the mountains he so dearly loved near Philipsburg, Montana on June 11, 2019 at the age of 39.

Tim is survived by his wife, Jenny Claire Stephenson; children Alexis Lynn Stephenson, Chase Timothy Stephenson, and Aspen Josette Stephenson; parents Ron Stephenson, Naoma Smith and Jerry Smith; siblings Christopher Dean Stephenson (Amanda Jean Stephenson), Nathan Stanley Stephenson, Elizabeth Marie Stephenson, and Thomas Shane Stephenson

Tim is preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald Corey Stephenson and Patrick Aaron Stephenson

Tim was born on April 13, 1980 in Fillmore, Utah to Naoma Bennett and Ronald ‘B’ Stephenson.

He attended Granite High School in Philipsburg, Montana, graduating in 1998.

He joined the Air Force in September of 1998, serving 4 years actively in Saudi Arabia and ending his service in September of 2002. He served a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Arizona. After his mission, he attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management.

Tim married and had 3 beautiful children. He worked as Project Controls Engineer for AECOM for 12 years, and recently joined WRPS in February of 2019. His professional career allowed Tim to travel all over the country, most recently on assignments in Alaska, New Jersey, California, and Washington.

After his divorce, Tim was reunited with his true love, Jenny Claire Temple. They were joyfully married in Anthem, Arizona and resided in West Richland, Washington.
Although their time was short, they enjoyed all of life’s experiences with memories that will last forever.

Tim lived his life with zest and vigor. He was always in a hurry to see things and experience life but made time to be goofy and smiled often. He made lifelong friends in every location he resided. Tim was an avid lover of nature and wildlife. His passions included fishing trips in Alaska for halibut and salmon, hunting in the Montana mountains for deer and elk, as well as hiking and kayaking among the beautiful areas around him. He loved shooting, bowling, archery, sharing meals with family, and spending time with his wife, children, and loved ones. Tim was very kind and compassionate, always thinking of others and willing to serve. He was a stalwart man of faith, constantly quoting scripture and doing missionary work. He strived to live by the 13th Article of Faith found in the Pearl of Great Price:

We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul-We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.
-Joseph Smith
