Funeral services for LaVerne N. (Pat) Olson, 50, of 3425 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers, who died unexpectedly Monday morning at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers, the Rev. Richard Weber officiating. Burial will be in Forest View Cemetery.
Mr. Olson was born Dec. 3, 1922, at Colby, Wis., son of the late Clarence and Sylvia Vanderhoof Olson. He attended Colby grade and high schools. In his young manhood he learned the cheesemaking trade after which he moved to Mishicot where he was employed at the former Western Condensing Co. plant. Up to the time of his death he had been a sales representative of Stoelting Brothers Co. of Kiel. He married Violet Mertens May 23, 1941, at Spencer, Wis.
Besides his wife and step-mother, Mrs. Clarence Olson, of Florida, he leaves two daughters, Sandi and Nancy, of Milwaukee; a son, Robert, of Racine; a sister, Mrs. Willard (Gladys) Frome, of Marshfield and a grandson, David Olson.
Friends may call at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, after 4 o'clock this Tuesday afternoon until 9 o'clock this Tuesday evening and after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
