Devoted mother, cherished grandmother and beloved sister and friend, Ruth Ann (Taylor) May passed away in Stonewall, Louisiana on Monday, June 17, 2019. Ruth was born on November 7, 1942 in Valamosa Springs, Alabama to Charlie and Mary Taylor. She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry May; daughter, Martha McDaniel; parents, Charlie and Mary Taylor; and siblings, Roma Rogers, Marie Brown and James Robert Taylor. Ruth is survived by her children, LaDonna Cole (Thomas) and Rocky May (Lisa); grandchildren, Cole White, Lillian Cole, Samantha Cole, Hallie Cole, Alissa May, Conner May, Kourtney May, Michael McDaniel, Travis McDaniel (Kristen), Jake McDaniel and Kelley McDaniel; great-grandchildren, Makayla McDaniel, Brendon McDaniel, Shea McDaniel, Levi McDaniel, Delilah Williams, Jay Boles and Trenton Redman; siblings, Ella Grubbs (Randy), Linda White (Ely) and Conita Rivers (Russ); friends, Kathy Baugh (Charlie), Opal Green (Ray), Evon White (Darrell) and Patti Johnson (David), as well as numerous other family and friends. Ruth was a great cook and loved her church. She was well loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A time of visitation is scheduled for Friday, June 21, 2019 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Meadowbrook Funeral Home. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 2:00pm on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at First Assembly of God Church in Waskom, Texas. Interment to follow at Restland Cemetery, Waskom, Texas. Bro.
