She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, knitting, old movies, music (especially swing and Dixie Jazz) and yard sales where she found many items for her many collections. She liked to go to the coast at least once a year and she was always was ready to go to Waikiki Beach, Honolulu if she could find someone to go with her. She was always ready for a party or good fun times.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Prineville, the XyZ Senior group, attended the Christian Women's Group lunches and Coffee Connections. Beverly was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star, Machias, Maine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in a motor vehicle accident in 1994. Survivors include her brother, David Kilton of Machias, Maine; her sons, Shelby (Tina) of Prineville, Sean (Denise) of LaGrande, Oregon, Kevin (Elianeth) of Snohomish, Washington, Ian (Renee) of Spring Creek, Nevada and her one and only daughter, Julie Griggs of Portland, Oregon; also by nine grandchildren, Lanelle, Paul, Suzanne, Emily, Andrew, Junior, Diego, Ryleigh and Rory.
Burial will be at Juniper Haven Cemetery in Prineville.
