Boaz - William Ciscero Norris,76 of Crossville died at 4:55 a.m., Thursday at his home.
Funeral services will be held at Crossville Baptist Church at a time to be announced with the Revs. C.B. Campbell and Willis Kelley officiating. Burial will be in the Crossville Cemetery with Gillespie-Barksdale Funeral Home directing.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mattie Newman Norris; three daughters, Mrs. Newman Thacker, Mrs. L. G. Trussell, and Mrs. Leonard Graham; four sons, Jesse T. Norris, William Clifford Norris, Lester M. Norris; two brothers, John H. Norris, Walter B. Norris; a sister, Mrs. Frank McBryar; 33 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
A native of Georgia, Mr. Norris came to DeKalb County at the age of two years. He was a member of the Crossville Baptist Church and a retired farmer.
