Mrs. Irma M. Bowers was born in Mobile, Alabama on September 13, 1903, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie Williams. She departed this life on September 30, 1977, at 6:00 a.m., in Harvey, Illinois.

She leaves to mourn her passing: three children, Mr. William Jackson of Chicago, Illinois, Mrs. Delores Langham of San Antonio, Texas, and Mr. Clifton Bowers, Jr. of Harvey, Illinois; two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Smith of Harvey, Illinois and Mrs. Hazel Grove of Mobile, Alabama; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one son-in-law, one daughter-in-law, a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

A Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday, October 7, 1977 at the Hodge's Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass to be said at the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church Saturday, October 8, at 11 a.m. by Father John Hardeman. Interment to follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
