LINN CREEK, MO - Danny Dale Boyd, formerly of Mount Pulaski, passed away Wednesday April 17, 2019 at his home in Linn Creek, MO with his family at his side.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the American Legion in Lincoln, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Danny was born October 4, 1951 in Lincoln, the son of Dale Boyd and June Boyd. He married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Rockwell, on March 11, 1972.
Surviving Danny are his wife, Nancy; their children, Joshua (Heather) Boyd, Shauna Boyd, and Dr. Zachary (Lauren) Boyd; two granddaughters, Kinley Marino and Corinne Boyd and two sisters, Rita (Lenny) Remmert and Lana (Bart) Miller.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents.
Danny was a successful contractor and an accomplished woodworker. One of his notable accomplishments was the completion of David Copperfield’s personal museum. Danny enjoyed horses, fishing, golf, and spending time with his family and friends.
Danny’s smile would light up any room when his children, grandchildren, and family were present. His sense of humor and quick wit brought so much joy and laughter to his family and friends; he will be missed greatly by all those who loved him.
