The son of Mills and Viola (Neal) Carlton was born on January 10, 1932 in Murray, Arkansas.
Ford was a joy to be around . He always had a smile on his face and loved to laugh and crack jokes. He loved company and was very welcoming. He always made a good cup of coffee and visiting with people. He was a hard worker and was dedicated to whatever task he set his mind to. He enjoyed reading his Bible and was very knowledgeable with it's contents. He liked to brush hog and ride 4-wheelers. He especially loved his family and spending time with them.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Onzalee; several brothers and one sister.
Ford is survived by a son, Richard Carlton and wife Ginger of Springdale; 2 daughters, Wanda Gehrke and husband Gary of Springdale and Sandra Rogers and husband Mike of Summers, Arkansas; a brother, John Carlton of Opolis, Kansas; 9 grandchildren, Chris Carlton and wife Loretta, Dustin Carlton and wife Amy, Hanna Erickson and husband Tanner, Haley Smith and husband Nicholas, Ashley Rogers, Melissa Rogers, Casey Rogers, Chate Rogers and Jovus Rogers; 4 great-grandchildren, Lexie and Braylin Carlton and Cole and Kate Carlton and many other family and friends who will mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held Saturday June 22, 2019 at 10:00 am at Mossville Church with Billy Paul Matlock, Bobby Young and Mike Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Mossville Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Chris Carlton, Gary Gehrke, Mike Rogers, Nicholas Smith, Chate Rogers, Jovus Rogers, Braylin Carlton and Dustin Carlton.
