Mrs. Peggy Joyce Tyler Todd, age 85, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019 at McLeod Loris Hospital. Mrs. Todd was born on November 28, 1933 in McColl, SC, to the late Grover Cleveland Tyler and the late Jeanetta Stevens. Mrs. Todd worked in food service at Loris High School, Richard’s BBQ, and KFC throughout her life. Mrs. Todd was a longtime member of Loris First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Ann Todd of Loris, SC; her two sons, Danny Paul Todd and wife, Cindy and Timothy Paul Todd and wife, Melissa, all of Loris, SC;; one grandson, James Philip Larrimore and wife, Melody of Myrtle Beach, SC; two step- grandsons, Winston Martin and wife, Erin of Hemingway, SC and Nicolas Martin and wife, Lydia of Loris, SC; four great-grandchildren, Raine Rabon, Summer Rabon, Snow Larrimore and Rainie Saiag; two step great-grandchildren, Nathan Martin and Neal Martin; two great-great-grandchildren, Rosalie Rabon and Jaxton Rabon; many loving nieces and nephews and her special friend, Kathy Treible of Loris, SC.
Mrs. Todd was predeceased by her husband, Paul Duff Todd, grandson, Patrick Rabon, and her six brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Hardwick Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Loris First Baptist Church with Rev. Drew Jackson and Rev. Jayson Hoagland officiating. Committal services will follow at Twin City Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Loris First Baptist Church, 3117 Main Street, Loris, SC 29569.
