Rita Lee Harris, 79, a resident of Warsaw, KY, passed away at her home on Saturday June 15, 2019. She was the widow of James Harris. Born on Tuesday April 30, 1940, she was the daughter of the late William and Delia Perkins Brown.

She was a homemaker that deeply loved her family. She dedicated her time to lovingly teach them the important things in life. She was a member of the Second Consolidated Baptist Church in Warsaw.

Rita leaves to cherish her memory, two daughter: Stephanie Harris and Delia Harris, both of Warsaw; one son: Jeff Harris of Warsaw, KY and one brother: Clarence Brown of Carrollton, KY. Four grandchildren also survive: Shana Harris, Clemensia Cardenas and Keisha Cardenas and Ethan McBride, along with eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son: Brian Harris, a granddaughter: Tabitha Volcan and one sister: Cecil Fields.

Visitation will be Thursday June 20, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Homes – Verona location. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Warsaw Cemetery.
