Betty Benz, 81, of Laurens, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at the Pocahontas Community Hospital in Pocahontas.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 22, 2007, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Laurens, with Fr. Verne Stapenhorst officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery near Laurens. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, at the Smith-Loterbour-Powers Funeral Home in Laurens. There will also be a Parish Prayer Service held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
