MARY MATILDA (TILLIE) SNAMAN was born on March 31, 1854, in Allegany, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of George H. Snaman and Maria Catharina Spengler. She married George Weber in 1876. They had five children, four daughters and one son. She was the mother of Lois Weber, the famous move director of the silent film era. She was devoted to her family and spent part of her years between two daughters in Hollywood, California and one daughter in Miami, Florida. She was a no nonsense woman, and delivered several of her grandchildren. She died on September 16, 1935, in Miami, Florida, at the age of 81. She was very loved.
