James Leon Puckett 94, of Ardmore,AL died Sunday, June 16, 2019 at his home.
Born Tuesday, July 1, 1924 in Ardmore, TN, he was the son of Fred Puckett and Ida Mae King Puckett. He lived in Ardmore his whole life and was a member of Boyds Chapel United Methodist Church. He enjoyed farming and NASCAR. He was a jack-of-all trades and a lifetime member of Decatur VFW.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Howard Puckett; and sister, Audeen Bland.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, step - son, two daughters, two step - daughters, ten grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, at 2:00 PM with Bro. Dale Mitchell and Chaplain John Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
