Actor. Born in Rushville, Indiana, he was a popular Chicago television station WGN personality. He began his career as a radio disk jockey and was best known for hosting the long-running children's TV show "Garfield Goose and Friends", broadcast nation wide from Chicago. He also hosted "Family Classics" and performed as circus manager on the "Bozo's Circus" show. He died from a stroke at the age 66.
