On Father’s Day, June 16, 2019, Joyce Ann Davidson, of North Little Rock was welcomed Home by her Heavenly Father and Earthly Father. She was born November 18, 1934 in Logan County, West Virginia to the late Art and Mary Marcum.

Joyce was a faithful member of Cedar Heights Baptist Church for 38 years serving alongside her husband as youth and children’s Sunday School ministers for 35 years. Joyce was employed by Kellwood Manufacturing Company in Little Rock for 6 years and then retired after 15 years of service from the North Little Rock School District. Joyce and her husband built a home-based Shaklee Business in 1979 which is still active today.

Joyce was preceded in death by both parents. Survivors include her husband, Aubrey “Shorty” Davidson; daughters, Ellyce (Chris) Best of Sherwood, Tami (Mark) Winchester of North Little Rock; three grandchildren, Alan Winchester, Jonathan Winchester and Haley Best; and one great-grandchild, Kaleb Winchester.

Joyce Ann was a shining example of love, strength, motherhood and a devoted and faithful wife. A true Proverbs 31 woman. She considered being a “Gran” and loving all children to be her greatest attribute.

At Cedar Heights Baptist Church in North Little Rock and a celebration of life will be 10 a.m., Thursday, June 20, 2019. Interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Plumerville, Arkansas.
