Connie May Dixon, 48, of Herrin passed away at 10:06 a.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2019 in Herrin Hospital with her husband by her side.

Connie was born April 8, 1971 in Herrin to Tommy and Jeanet (Jeralds) Murray.
She married Mark Harrison Dixon on June 27, 2003 in Marion. Together they have shared nearly 16 years of marriage.

Connie was a homemaker. She was a member of the Pentecostals of Southern Illinois. She was a 1989 graduate of Herrin High School.

Survivors include her husband Mark Dixon of Herrin; step-son, two step-grandchildren, one sister, Sherry (Marty) ; one brother, Tommy Murray. She is also survived several nieces, nephews and two special friends, Pam and Alexis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jeanett Murray.

In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated. Celebration of life services will be at a later date.

Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City is entrusted with the arrangements.
