PITTSBURG, TEXAS - Barbara Carol French, 80, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Savior, surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, June 15, 2019.
Barbara was born July 27, 1938, in Tarrant County to Ted and Ruth Thompson. She retired from UTD accounting department. She was a member of First Baptist Church Mt. Pleasant, Texas. She enjoyed China painting, reading, and traveling. Baking and cooking for her family was one of many ways she showed her love.
Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jimmy B. French; her sisters, Linda McDade and Gloria Nelson; and brother-in-law, Glen Johnson.
Survivors: Children, Nancy Osgood and husband, Joe, Randy French and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Dawson French, Brienna French, Ethan French and Molly Osgood; sisters-in-law, Madeline Johnson, Genny Coleman and husband, Roy; brothers-in-law, Charlie McDade, and Frank Nelson and Deb French.
