Barbara is survived by one son, Larry Burnett of Dayton; one sister Rose Wurst of Springsboro, Ohio and two step-sons, Robert (Crystal) Gilmore and James (Caroline) Gilmore both of Coshocton, Ohio. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 8 step-great grandchildren as well as 3 nieces.
During her early working years Barbara was employed at Andersons Dining room. In later years she worked as a cook for Bristol Court, where she retired. Cooking was a passion of Barb's, her expression of love was preparing meals for family and friends as many gathered in her home throughout the years. Barb always looked forward to a full house and great food.
Barbara spent many years as a caregiver to several of her grandchildren and one of her children. Because of her care, the quality of their lives was enhanced and extended.
We would like to thank the many friends who gave of their time to assist Barbara in these last few years. We would also like to thank Riverside Methodist Hospital and Kobacker House of Columbus, for the excellent care to Barbara, as well as her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30 pm on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at St. Mary Queen of the Missions Catholic Church with Father Sean Dooley, Celebrant and Father William Hahn, Celebrant officiating. A private burial service for the family will be held at a later date in Coshocton, Ohio. Family will receive friends at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly on Thursday 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
