JESUS FERNANDEZ, age 68 of Alvin, Texas passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his family. Jesus was born on September 7, 1950 in Mexico and was a resident of Alvin for 25 years. He worked in construction for many years and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Jesus is preceded in death by his parents, Carmen and Rafael Fernandez, daughter, Yesenia Lopez.
Jesus is survived by his wife, Antonia Fernandez, daughters, Rocio Fernandez, Rosalinda Fernandez, sons, Rafael Fernandez and wife Sandra, Cesar Fernandez and wife Briseida, Sandro Fernandez and wife Magaly, sisters, Oralia and Concha, brother, Cruz, Juan and Toño, 13 grandchildren, Joshua, Bryana, Jessica, Leo, Yvette, Christian, Ceci, Jasiel, Lalo, Alex, Angel, Christian, Jaylah, 3 great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Aleyah, Zaniyah, along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts uncles, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Scott Funeral Home with a Rosary service to begin at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Alvin. Interment will follow in the City of Alvin Oak Park Cemetery.
