Robert Crews, age 76, of Glenwood, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019.

He was born on April 12, 1943, in Norman, the son of James Edgar Crews and Virgie Mae Fouts Crews.

On September 3, 1965, he was married to Latricia A. Norman Crews, who preceded him in death on August 31, 2014. He was also preceded in death by his father.

He was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Glenwood and worked for many years for Smith Whetstone. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son, Roger, and his greatest joy in life was sitting on his porch and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his mother, Virgie Crews; his daughter, Leeann Stearns; his son, Roger Crews, all of Glenwood; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joann Herring and Joy Buck, both of Glenwood; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 19, 2019, in the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Glenwood with Bro. Kyle Cowart and Bro. Keith Shewbart officiating.

Interment in Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Fite, Cody Stearns, Darren Bardwell, John Baldwin, Eddie Herring and Tony Tankersley.

Honorary pallbearers will be the nurses and staff of Glenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation.
