Wanda Jo Powell Carr, 80, of Etoile, passed away in a Diboll nursing facility. She was born to the late Syble (King) and Woodrow Powell.
She had a huge love for flowers and gardening. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by anyone who knew her.
Jo is survived by her husband, Charles Carr; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Engia Carr; son, Floyd Wright; sister, Nora Jane.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Buddy Ray Wilkins; and brother, James Woodrow Powell.
The family will have a private memorial service in the Sunset Mausoleum in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park at a later date.
