As a young woman she was a rainbow girl with the Eastern Star. She later graduated from OU with her bachelors degree in social work. While attending OU she met the love of her life Robert Grant. She worked for the Texas Department of Human Services until her retirement. She loved traveling with family and after retirement her and Robert got to see places they always wanted to see. She was a great cook and always enjoyed her gardens and flowers. Her family meant the world to her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Grant.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her mother Norma Catherine Hunter, brothers Leroy and Tom Hunter, children Kimberly and Kristen Grant, and five Grandchildren Evan Pritchett, Emily Halterman, Erika Shelton, Skii and Tye Mcwalters.
