Mr. Clarence Abbott of Delhi passed away in his 94th year. During his very diverse career, he worked various as a farmer, an insurance agent and a machinist. Clarence was a member of the local school board, the Association of Municipalities of Ontario, and was Chairman of the Rural Ontario Municipal Association. He also served as Mayor of Norfolk County for fourteen years.
Clarence was the treasured husband of Faye, and the dearly loved father of Christine (Tom), Debbie (Alan), Frank (Janice) and Bill (Darcy). He was the proud grandfather of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Clarence will always be lovingly remembered by his brother Bert (late Marion), and by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was predeceased by his parents Murray and Mary Abbott.
