Arthur Carter
  Arthur L. Carter passed away at his home on June 12, 2019. He was born on January 23, 1938 in Nephi, UT, to James and Georgia Carter, as the second of seven children. He married Marcella M. Field on September 6, 1956 in the Salt Lake Temple for time and eternity. They were together for 41 years until she had passed away in 1997. They had five children, Molly Carter, Boyd (Darla) Carter, Craig Carter, and Valerie (Steve) Mangum. He then married Juanita Conner in March 1998 in the Salt Lake Temple in a civil ceremony.
  He liked to visit his family in Nephi and go camping in the Nephi canyon. He loved to attend family Thanksgiving and Christmas parties every year. Arthur had a bud named Bud and together they had a passion for old cars. He had a Model A, 1949 Cadillac, and a 1951 Ford. He had horses Pig and Coco, a mule named Figero, and had nine chickens. He also loved to garden and spent a lot of time working on his yard. Spending time with his grandkids was important to him.
  Arthur is survived by his wife, children, step-children Karla (Roger) Autrey, Thomas, Carol (Joe) Magill, Jeanne (Alan) Hughes, Charles (Terrie) Conner, Elizabeth (Robert) Vest, Kevin (Chrisanne) Conner, and siblings, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
  He is preceded in death by his wife Marcella, parents, and brother Dave Carter.
  An evening viewing will take place Monday, June 17, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at 2700 West, 7000 South, West Jordan, UT. Another viewing will take place Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 10:00 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM at the same location. Interment to follow at Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
