Tara Deanine Miles Elliott, 47 went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Tara was the daughter of the late Millard Russell Bigelow and Rosa Miles Bigelow.
She was born in Alamance County July 22, 1971 and departed her earthly home June 12, 2019 after a year long battle with cancer. She gave cancer a real good fight.
Her memories are three sons Tamari Graves, Cory Elliott Jr. and Colby Elliott to carry on her legacy. Her sister Beverly Miles Goins (Bennie Goins Sr.) and brother Ronald Dion Oliver (Debra), two nieces Briana Goins and Alexis Oliver, two nephews Bennie Goins Jr. and Ronald Dion Oliver Jr. One goddaughter Tierra Crisp. Paternal Grandparents of the late Lorenzo “Shed” Bigelow (Annie Kimber Bigelow) and Maternal Grandparents of the late Vera Lee Jackson Miles and Roberta Lee Woods Miles. A host of family and friends and graduates from Walter M. Williams High School class of 1989 and Brookstone College.
The home going celebration will be Monday, June 17th at Martin’s Chapel Baptist Church. The viewing will take place from 12:00 with the family arriving at 12:30 and service will directly follow at 1:00.
