He is survived by his loving wife, Frances Allen; son, Wendell Jr. and wife, Diane; grandchildren, Shannon, Jason and wife, Lesley, and Cassie; great granddaughter, Sadie Allen; son, Roger and Shellie, their son, Joshua and Jo; granddaughters, Angelina and Charlee Allen; brothers, Charles Allen; nephew and nieces, Charles and Glenda Allen, Diane and Beck Bryant, and Terry and Rocky Byrge; Kenneth and Anne Allen; nephew, Todd and Kristy Allen; sister, Betty and Elmer Winter; nephews and niece, Tim and Lori Winter, Steve Winter, and Debbie and Steve Anderson.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Rio East Church, 1412 East Broadway, Maryville, on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., followed by a graveside service with military honors, at Grandview Cemetery.
