This begin not too long after Don and I married in 1967. There was a lot of fun in those younger days. Thankful for you and Jim being great buddies, the bond you have and your friendship with Junior. I even remember you being friends with Critt. Don talked about the camping trip that you, Critt and he took. You swinging across the water on a vine that was attached around a tree. You realizing after you started what you took on. He told you were so funny when you fell in the water. It was a hard fall you took. You have made a lot of people laugh. You kept your kid like manor. LEWIS, Marvin Ray, 72, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019.
He was an avid Harley Davidson rider, a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, and a member of the National Rifle Association, and an Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Virginia Lewis.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 47 years, Sissy Lewis; daughter, Melissa Lewis Nalley (Brian); sister, Shirley Trent; sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Davis; many nieces and nephews; and grand-dogs, Snoopy and Molly.
The family has requested that all expressions of sympathy be made to The Wounded Warrior Project.
