She is survived by her children, Shelia (Carter) Alexandria of Corpus Cove, TX, David (Cindy) Thomas of Poplarville, MS, Bobby (Deanne) Thomas of Franklinton, LA, and Ronald Bennett of Lafayette, LA; 12 grandchildren, Shanda Alexander of Corpus Cove, TX, Tiffany Alexander of Corpus Cove, TX, Melissa Thompson of Lafayette, LA, Kevin Pounds of Poplarville, MS, David Thomas of Bogalusa, LA, Adam Thomas of Poplarville, MS, Whitney Thomas of Franklinton, LA, Wade Thomas of Franklinton, LA, Jordan Bennett of Norfolk, VA, Austin Bennett of Lafayette, LA, Summer Bennett of Lafayette, LA, and Brandon Holubar of Holden, LA; 2 sisters, Sue Palmar of Amite, LA, and Diane Parker of Jackson, MS; 2 brothers, Roy Adams of Alabama, and J. C. Adamas of Texas. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Alma Adams, and numerous brothers, and sisters.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Poole – Ritchie Funeral Home on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. with Elder Doyle Ball officiating. Internment will follow in the Rueben Adams Cemetery.
A visitation will be held on Monday morning from 9 A.M. until service time at 11 A.M. in the funeral home chapel.
