Lillian Burton Andrew, age 87, passed away July 21, 1992 in Salt Lake City of natural causes.

She was born August 25, 1904 in Salt Lake City to Elbert Turner and Ida Larsen Burton.

Married Reed Douglas Andrew on September 8, 1926 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She served an LDS mission to Italy with her sweetheart, Reed. She was active in the Relief Society both in Detroit and Salt Lake City. She was also an active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, and a granddaughter of General Robert Taylor Burton.

A well loved and honored matriarch, she is survived by her sons, Douglas Burton Andrew, bloomfield Hills, Michigan; Neil Harding (Thurza) Andrew, Chico, California; Reed Chadwick (Janice) Andrew, Portage, Wisconsin; and David Stephenson (Lydia) Andrew, Durham, New Hampshire; brothers, Wallace and Roy, both California; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Reed; son, Robert B. Andrew; brother, Neil Burton; and sister, Roma Burton Johnson.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 1992 at 11:00 a.m. in the Olympus Eighth Ward Chapel, 2675 East 4430 South, where friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services.
Burial: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
