Bernice Jean Holmes, 79, of Salina, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018. She was born July 9, 1939 in Loveland, Colorado
She worked for Days Inn as housekeeper for 9 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto & Betty (Wright) Kercher; common law husband Eugene Gardenhire; daughter Tina Holmes; sister Mary Hutton; brother Paul Kercher.
Survivors include her, children, Tammy Brown, Jannette Johnson, Taresa Gardenhire, and William Gardenhire; sisters Connie Trogdon, Beverly Orsborn, Patricia Castro, Deborah Martin. She has 15 Grandchildren, and 26 Great Grandchildren.
Cremation has been chosen, at Bernice's request there will be no service.
