Kyle B. Hale, of Forney, TX, passed away August 23, 2018, at the age of 76. He was born June 26, 1942, in Odessa, TX, to Joe Bailey and Willie Mae (Cummings) Hale. Kyle served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. While he was a member of the Mesquite Police Department, he attended and graduated from the FBI Academy. He served his community for 31 years as a Mesquite Police Officer. As a member of the FBI National Association and the Texas Police Association, Kyle prided himself on helping others. He attended many mission trips in South Texas and also volunteered his time at Howard County Christian Health Clinic in Nashville, AR, Operation Christmas Child in Nashville and Joseph's House, a food and clothes pantry, in Garland, TX. Serving others was very important to Kyle and he served many through his church, Living Hope Baptist in Garland. He enjoyed fishing, but above all else, loved spending time with his grandchildren. Kyle was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and he will be missed tremendously.

Kyle is survived by his loving wife, children, 5 grandchildren, and one great grandson, one brother and one sister. He was preceded in death by his brother: Patrick Hale; and his parents, Joe Bailey Hale and Willie Mae (Cummings) Hale.
