Joshua David Hamilton, 37, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at his residence.
Born August 27, 1981 in Leesburg, VA, he was the son of David and Diane Hamilton of Harpers Ferry, WV.
Josh loved sports, playing cards and visiting the beach. He was known as “Hams” and could always make you laugh.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Avery Hamilton of North Carolina; one sister, Audri Stillwell and husband, Josh of Harpers Ferry; maternal grandmother, Anna Bates of Ranson; niece and nephew, Gracelyn and Zachary and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, John Bates; paternal grandparents, William and Mary Hamilton, two uncles, one aunt and one cousin.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Rev. Roland England officiating. Interment will be in Furnace Mountain Cemetery, Lucketts, VA.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 pm.
