Donna Marie J. Wheeler, age 90 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019. Funeral Service will be Sunday, June 16th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bob Snell officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, June 15th from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 16th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Gallatin Cemetery, with Justin Downs, Cody Johnson, Aaron Braswell, B. J. Wheeler, Jeremy Wheeler, and Bart Highers honoring her as pallbearers.

Mrs. Wheeler was born September 21, 1928 in Greenville, IL to the late Griffith B. Jones and Bessie Stone Jones. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, William Thomas Wheeler, Jr.; brothers, Robert "Bob" Jones and Henry Jones; and sister, Lucille Highers. She is survived by son, William Thomas Wheeler III of Gallatin; daughters, Debbie Downs (Steve) of Gallatin, Jane Ann Braswell of Portland, and Karen Haller (Glenn) of Gallatin; 6 grandchildren, Justin Downs (Emily), Ashley Johnson (Cody), William Thomas "B.J." Wheeler IV (Tyler), Jeremy Wheeler (Heather), Lauren Braswell, and Aaron Braswell; and 13 great grandchildren. Mrs. Wheeler was a member of First United Methodist Church Gallatin, Eastern Star Bethpage #5, and Crossroads Home Demonstration Club. She worked in the medical profession for over 32 years, working for Dr. Giles, Dr. Cox, Dr. Webster, and Dr. Stewart. Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
