Born October 6, 1936 in Rushville, she was the daughter of Ed Fletcher and Ollar(Self)Fletcher. She married Kenneth E. Hamilton on November 6, 1953 and he survives.
Other survivors include 3 daughters, Diana(Phillip)Carew of North Carolina, Brenda(Hal)Covington of Shelbyville, Rebecca(Todd)Vanosdol of Shelbyville; brother, Carlos(Ruth)Fletcher of Georgia, sister, Viola Zimmerman of Indianapolis; special niece, Jean Nolley of Greenfield; 8 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 7 brothers & 3 sisters.
Mrs. Hamilton had lived in this area entire lifetime, and attended Rushville High School.
She was a homemaker, and had worked as a factory worker at Western Electric in Indianapolis for 10 years.
She was a member pf Hope's Point Baptist Church.
Becky loved flowers, the outdoors, working in her yard, and watching the Gaithers on TV. She also loved her family and spending time with them.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor Ed Mohr officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
