DIED - JULY 29, 2007 ** VIRGIL LESLIE PERRY, 88, of Buffalo, W. Va., at the Huntington VA Medical Center. Born April 24, 1919, in Wayne County, West Virginia. Preceded in death by his parents Byrd and Hilda Perry; two brothers, Lenny and Bernard; one sister, Jewel; one grandson, Gary Newton. Survivors include his wife Eloise Malcolm Perry; daughter Janne Malcolm Rice and her husband Bob and their children; three daughters, Peggy Perry, Pat Townsend and husband Bob and Valorie Newton and husband Joel of Durham, N.C. Other survivors include four grandsons; two granddaughters; four great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter. Burial August 3, 2007 in Ridgelawn Cemetery.

VIRGIL L. PERRY, 88 of Buffalo, Wayne County, husband of Eloise Malcolm Perry, died Sunday in the Huntington VAMC. He retired from the U.S. Army. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Central United Methodist Church, 1043 Jefferson Ave., Huntington. Visitation after 12:30 p.m. Friday at the church. Reger Funeral Home, Huntington, is in charge of arrangements.
