Raymond Foster "Pete" Morrison, 91, of Fulton, passed away on Thursday, August 3rd. A native of Fulton, he was a life resident. He was a Syracuse University graduate receiving a Bachelors of Science degree in chemical engineering and worked at Nestle Company in Fulton until his retirement. Previously he worked at General Motors in Syracuse. Raymond served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War. He was a member and former treasurer of Bristol Hill Congregational Church in Volney. Raymond was an avid pinochle card player and enjoyed playing board games. He had a strong sense of family roots and was the family historian.
Surviving are five nieces; two nephews; and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
A calling hour will be held from 1 to2 p.m. Thursday, August 10th at Bristol Hill Congregational Church, 3199 State Route 3 in Volney with services to follow at 2 p.m. Burial with military honors will be at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, East Broadway in Fulton. Memorial contributions are encouraged to Bristol Hill Congregational Church, 3199 State Route 3, Fulton, NY 13069. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton has care of the arrangements.
