"Dorothy Rosetta Sutton, age 85, of the Baptist Home of North Missouri in Chillicothe, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 1994, at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.

She was born Nov. 10, 1908 in St Louis, the daughter of John Marvin and Mary Trammell Sutton. On Jan. 28, 1929, she married Blucher Withers in Waterloo, Ill. He preceded her in death on Nov. 5, 1945. On July 30, 1950, she married Charles Nathan Sutton. He preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 1957.

Mrs. Sutton was employed for 17 years by Sefton National Can Company in Maplewood, Mo., retiring in 1946 and moving to Wayne Co., Mo. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Williamsville, until moving to Clinton. Mrs. Sutton joined the First Baptist Church of Clinton, where she held membership until the time of her death. She had been a resident of the Baptist Home since 1988. While living at the Baptist Home, Mrs. Sutton was active in the Women's Missionary Union and the rhythm band.

Graveside services and burial will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 1994 at Holliday Cemetery in Williamsville, Mo. The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, January 10, 1994
