George Martin Hanson, age 82 of Lindstrom, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at his home.

George was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Vera; wife, Janice in 2014; and a brother, Gerald. He is survived by his children, Brenda Hanson, Jill (John) Perron, and Tony (Rachel) Hanson; grandchildren, Keho, Cassie (Jesse), Zach, Noah, Liam, and Quinn; great grandchildren, Keeli, JayLynn, Carter, and Ellianna; sister, Jackie Haefliger; special friend, Joni Mattson; and many other family & friends.

George was born March 20, 1937, in St. Paul to Carl and Vera (Hosli) Hanson. He attended Mechanic Arts High School. George was united in marriage to Janice Charles on February 1, 1964, in Little Canada. He was a carpenter and later was employed with Plastic Products in Lindstrom. George was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Carpenters Union. He enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, his vineyard, casino trips, and winter travels to Florida.
