East Providence – George H. Landry, Jr. 91 of East Providence, died Monday June 10, 2019 at home.

He was the husband of Gail (Emerson) Landry, for over 52 years.

George was born in Gloucester Ma, a son of the late George H. and Mary (Ribeiro) Landry Sr.

Mr. Landry was a Motor Coach Operator for the Bonanza Bus Lines, for over 32 years, before retiring.

He was a Veteran of the US Navy.

Mr. Landry has lived in Riverside since 1972. He was an avid model train and Boat collector, had a fantastic sense of humor, he enjoyed working in his yard. He also liked to do carpentry work.

Besides his wife he is survived by his son Sterling Landry his daughters Joan E. DaCosta of Fall River and Holly A. Rougier and her husband Albert of Riverside.

Mr. Landry was the grandfather of 11 and the great grandfather of 9.

He was the father of the late George H. "Buddy" Landry III, Crystal Kitchen, and Susan Deiss.

His funeral service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 2:30 pm in the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Saturday from 1:00-2:30 pm.
