Evelyn Beatrice McGalliard Morgan, 92, of Morganton, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Autumn Care of Drexel, following a period of declining health.
Evelyn was born July 10, 1926, in Burke County, to the late Lafayette McGalliard and Gertie Williams McGalliard. She was a member at Table Rock Seventh Day Adventist.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Foster W. Morgan Sr., siblings, Myrtle Yancey, Elgie McGalliard Sr., Herman McGalliard, Francis McGalliard, John McGalliard, Owen McGalliard, Allie Dellinger, and Martha Williams.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Table Rock Seventh Day Adventist Church, with Pastor Faye Acuff officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
