Vickie Eileen Schoof of Hebron, NE the daughter of Vernon and Anna Kathryn Aznoe was born April 2, 1948 in Sacramento, CA. She departed this life Monday, June 10, 2019 at her home in Hebron, NE.

Vickie grew up in Elk Grove, CA where she attended school and graduated from Elk Grove High School with the class of 1966.

Vickie was baptized and confirmed August 18, 1996 at The First Christian Church in Hebron, NE.

Vickie married LaVerne Schoof May 24, 1975 in Belleville, KS. This union was blessed with the birth of one son David.

She was a devoted wife and mother always putting her family first.

Vickie enjoyed many God given talents, such as painting, doing signs for downtown businesses, acting with The Thayer County Community Play House, and singing in the church choir. She was an active member of The Christian Church in Hebron, where she served as church secretary for over 10 years.

She liked to travel taking trips to Colorado with Vern even on the motorcycle, working crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy, Cubs baseball, and reading.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Kenny and Clifford Aznoe, and sister Joyce Lee.

She is survived by her husband Vern of 44 years, son David Schoof of York, NE, brothers Danny and Chuck Aznoe of Sacramento, CA, sister Kelly Allen and husband Alexander, niece Selena all of Citrus Heights, CA, and many friends.

Following Vickie’s wishes she was cremated, no visitation. Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at The First Community Church in Hebron, NE at 10AM. Officiant will be Pastor Steve Speichinger, organist Judy Kassebaum, congregational hymns “How Great Thou Art”, “The Old Rugged Cross”, and “Amazing Grace”, honorary casket bearers; Franklin Northrup, Jean Thompson, Jack Segelken, Jim Schoof, Gary George, John Boatman, and John Church. Memorials in care of family. Inurnment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Hebron, condolences may be left at www.krollfh.com. Kroll Funeral Home of Hebron, NE is in charge of arrangements.
