Services for Ms. Mildred Hughlen Wheeler will be Sunday, June 16 at 2PM at Reeds Chapel Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens.
Ms. Wheeler is survived by a Grand-daughter, Tosha W. McGill, and her three children, Dawson, Drake, and Skylar, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Ms.Wheeler was the fifth child born to Cleve and Mary Etta Pruett Sellers. She was raised in the Bargerton Community. She married Alton L. Wheeler in 1945. In 1958 the couple adopted a son, Terry Wayne Wheeler, and the family moved to Alabama shortly thereafter. Upon retiring the family returned to Lexington to make their home.
Ms. Wheeler was preceded in death by her parents, her son, and her husband; four brothers, Tilford, Aundee, Audraine, and Winford Sellers.
