Ms. Sandra Marion Wilder, age 63, of Rensselaer, passed away Tuesday June 11, 2019 at her home in Rensselaer.

She was born January 25, 1956 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Donald E. Wilder and Marie Hazel Snyder Wilder.

She was known for being a rebel and travel "Wanderer", known for her natural flaming red hair and stubborn will. Sandra was noted for having an extremely stoic, no nonsense outlook on life. She would tell it how it is, straight to the point. She made her fair share of mistakes, but was not ashamed to admit for what she did. Her loyalty was something she took pride in, sometimes could be loyal to a fault. Sandra loved her mother dearly, and shared her father's personality to a T. Her siblings were near and dear to her, even though they were physical apart.

Sandra is survived by siblings; David Snyder, Donald H. Wilder (Nancy), Donna Wilder (Chris Hough), Michael Wilder, Christopher Wilder, Edward Boles (Kim Heroth), Tammy L. Jones (Jeff), Donielle Lince (Jeremy), her step-mother Louise Wilder, her beloved uncle Paul Wilder (Joyce) along with several nieces and nephews, who adorn the walls of her apartment.

In addition to both her parents, Sandra was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Henry "Hank" Snyder and Leona Glynn, and her paternal grandparents Asa "Dutch" Wilder and Lillian Graham.

Keeping with Sandra's wishes, there will be no formal calling hours or visitation. There will be a graveside service at the Prospect Hill Cemetery, S. Kingsboro Ave. Gloversville.
