Corporation, Dies at Age of 58
Otto Benson, 58, of 310 Forest avenue, died Friday evening at 7 o'clock at the Jamestown General hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ella Christenson Benson; a daughter, Mrs. Lorena Owen; three sons, G. Otto, Walter D. and Albert L. Benson, and four grandchildren, all of Jamestown, and three brothers, John B. Benson of St. Mary's, Pa., Ed Benson of Horness and George Benson of Geneva.
Mr. Benson was born in Liberty, Pa., April 25, 1881. He was a casemaker at the Jamestown Metal corporation for several years until he became ill in 1937. He was a member of the Lutheran Immanuel church, Leif Erikson lodge, S. F. of A., and Local No. 1558, International Association of Machinists of the A. F. of L.
